Roughly 36cm long. 24cm tall.Machine embroidered national eagle in gold and brown thread.Top and bottom and hoist edges of pennant are trimmed in ribbed gilt tress with a interwoven swastika pattern. Textbook, full length machine embroidered, Kreta cufftitle. Awarded to troops who participated in the assault on the island of Crete in 1941. A little scuffing to front left hand side otherwise near mint condition.
Woven tan camel hair construction cufftitle machine embroidered with Latin script"Afrika", flanked by palm trees in silver grey rayon threads. The edges of the cufftitle are bordered in machine stitched silver grey rayon braiding.Open back reverse reveals the embroidered script.
