Winterberg in Adenau, a Gee Station in Germany where the owner served. AMES is short for Air Ministry Experimental Station, the name given to the British Air Ministry's radar development team.Waist has leather belt intact and Lightning made zips to sleeves and jacket .The jacket zip has several teeth missing at the bottom however it is still able to fasten up intact. Left and right breast has pockets with stud closures that are open internally on inside to give access to tunic worn beneath or internal equipment. All stitching intact.
