Leather flying jacket with sheepskin lining and internal War Dept label.Front left breast has detailed badge in gold depicting a wolf with the words 'AMES 7925 MIKES CIRCUS'. This was for R.A.F. Winterberg in Adenau, a Gee Station in Germany where the owner served. AMES is short for Air Ministry Experimental Station, the name given to the British Air Ministry's radar development team.Waist has leather belt intact and Lightning made zips to sleeves and jacket .The jacket zip has several teeth missing at the bottom however it is still able to fasten up intact.Left and right breast has pockets with stud closures that are open internally on inside to give access to tunic worn beneath or internal equipment.All stitching intact. Leather in excellent condition for its age.Inside pocket has fur lining and wool lining all present.
Very nice late war cap with non trimmed visor and matt silver piping.Blue/grey wool blend cap with black mohair centreband and matt silver piping to crown and centreband edges.Rear of piping has some small wear where piping has frayed. The front of the cap has a hand embroidered Luftwaffe eagle in bright silver/aluminum wire threads on grey wool base. The eagle is neatly hand stitched to the cap. The front center of the centerband has a hand embroidered oak-leaf wreath in silver/aluminum wire threads and a hand embroidered national tri-color cockade. The cap has an silver/aluminum braid chin cord secured to the cap by two silver washed pebbled alloy buttons. The cap has a pressed paper lacquered visor. The interior of the cap is fully lined in gray rayon that has heavy sweat staining to crown and a black leather sweatband . Excellent late war production example.

Bakelite and alloy German compass marked with 'Marsch Kompass' and maker DRP to front and back of bakelite base and cover.Has original neck chord still intact.With leather case that still has fully working zip.
Steel and bakelite construction with leather hanging strap to rear for attaching to uniform button.Maker stamped to front 'DAIMON TELKO TRIO'

Visor cap and brown leather folder,worn and used by ex R.A.F. Pilot who later flew for B.E.A.(British European Airways) .Contains paperwork pertaining to his pension scheme with the airline.Visor has embroidered BEA badge to front and maker label to cap interior.Interesting items for Aviation enthusiasts.Aquired as part of collection from R.A.F. veteran's family
