Very nice Waffen SS Unterscharfuhrer tunic group comprising an M43 tunic converted to M44 style .Field grey gabardine material 5 button tunic.This has been a field conversion and done in a very nice professional manner. The breast pockets are standard M43 type. Left breast has thread loops for wear of two awards. The tunic has four sets of vertically aligned three stitched eyelets with one set situated at either side of the front closure and two to either side of the back panel waistline designed for the belt support hooks. Reverse of the field blouse have two short vertical tapering seams and the reverse also has a short vertical tail skirt vent.To the right of tail vent has been a period repair.The straight sleeve cuffs each have a small vertical slash to the outside seams with a single stitched button eyelet and button to each.Lower right sleeve has staining possibly either blood or oil.The upper left sleeve has machine embroidered SS sleeve eagle in silver/grey threads on a black base. The eagle is machine stitched to the sleeve. Black wool construction slip on Artillery/Tank Destroyer Shoulder straps and retaining loops and pebbled buttons are intact.NCO silver aluminium diamond shaped tress and red waffenfarbe to outside edges.Machine embroidered runic and rank tabs are machine stitched to the collar. Both in lovely worn condition. Tunic also comes with EK2 ribbon.Tunic buttons are pebble type. The interior of the field blouse is partially lined in grey artificial silk. The right front tail skirt lining has a field dressing pocket with a single button closure. The lining also has four vertical grey straps with four stitched eyelets to each positioned to the reverse of the exterior belt support hook eyelets. Lining to right breast panel has black size RB numbered ink stamps,an army stamp but not uncommon to be issued to SS troops particularly late war.
Belt buckle is early die stamped solid nickel/silver construction features a smooth outer field with a high relief, embossed, central motif pattern consisting of an SS style national eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreath encompassing a static swastika. The swastika and wreath are encompassed by a circular rope border with Gothic script motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!", (My Honour is Loyalty!). The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse and the buckle catch, prong bar and prongs are all intact. The reverse the buckle is also well marked with the stamped manufacturer’s initials,"O&C", indicating manufacture by Overhoff & Cie of Lüdenscheid and "Ges. gesch.", indicating, Gesetzlich Geschützt,(Protected by Law). Black leather belt is complete and in good condition and ink stamped on tongue '94' and maker stamp however this is difficult to decipher.
K98 pouches are early pattern, blackened pebbled leather construction three compartments to each ammo pouch.Maker marked and dated for 1943 and numbered to one pouch.Other pouch is marked Hamburg 1942'.
Panzer Officer visor cap for the German Army elite 116th 'Windhund' Division. This cap was aquired by a collector from a Canadian veteran of the Falaise Pocket who removed it from a tank of the 116th Div. Field grey wool body and crown with green cloth centerband and pink waffenfarbe to crown edge and top and bottom edges of centerband. Top of the wool crown has three holes and one larger hole that has similarly matched hole to black liner cloth beneath which would suggest this is possible damage sustained in the field from burning embers that has landed on cap and burnt through. This could be possibly repaired with a small piece of similar cloth which has come with the cap and has been placed under the hole. Front center of cap has a stamped second pattern alloy national eagle and second pattern stamped alloy oak-leaf wreath and national tri-color cockade. Twisted silver aluminum chin cord is secured in place by two silver wash pebbled buttons. Black vulcanfibre visor.To the left side of cap is the Divisions emblem badge of a leaping greyhound (windhund) in black lacquered zinc with both prongs intact.A rare badge. Interior of cap fully lined in brown cloth and maker marked 'Gustav Horning, Rastaff, Herrenstr.8' . Brown leather sweatband complete. Apart from the damage this is a very nice cap to a famous German armoured Division.
Field grey wool rayon cap with dark green centreband and dark green piping.One very small nip to the crown.Insignia comprises a gilt washed stamped alloy eagle and swastika and alloy oakleaves wreath encompassing a stamped national tricolor cockade. Twisted silver/aluminum chin cord is secured inplace by two small gilt washed metal buttons decorated with fouled navy anchors. Black vulcanfibre visor in good condition with all stitching intact. The interior of the cap is fully lined in light blue rayon with grey leather sweatshield and sweatband ribbon to the rear.Interior celluloid sweat diamond intact with all stitching present. Superb condition cap.
Retaining approx 90% original paint, and decal has approx 85% remaining. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. Interior of the helmet has a M31 tan leather liner with all eight fingers and original tie string intact.Interior of helmet crown has faint manufacturer stamp. The reverse interior neck guard apron has stamped serial number "5178" and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturer’s size code,"ET66" indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz size 66. Chin strap complete and is stamped 'Rahm & Kampmann 1936'
Very nice Type 90 Infantry combat helmet. The helmet shell retains about 60% of its original olive drab paint.The Imperial metal star is present to the front. The three pad liner is complete to the interior with no cracking and two of the liner pads have their original cloth padding bags with the original padding inside. Helmet has original cloth chinstrap. A kanji character for size indication is stamped to the front interior liner. Shell has number '49' stenciled to the rear interior. The helmet has attached its rare original helmet net complete with drawstring and sack cloth camouflage strips inserted in net.
Army infantry officers peaked cap with silver bullion wire eagle and cockade. Nice quality cap made from doeskin material, small tear to the top and a little staining to the edge. Maker marked Karl Hartel, Kurschnermeister, Weiden-Opf. Some wear and tear to the inside and a bend to the visor on the right hand side, otherwise a nice honest cap which has seen some service.
Nice quality Luftwaffe wool/rayon blend construction visor cap features a black centerband and red wool waffenfarbe piping for Artillery Flak units.2nd pattern Luftwaffe alloy eagle and cockade insignia. The cap has a black patent leather chinstrap with black metal retaining clips and black metal sliding adjustment buckles and buttons all complete. Black lacquered leather visor. Complete with liner and sweatband.Interior is lined in green rayon and has a clear celluloid sweat diamond which is fully intact and maker marked 'Pekuro' and also marked 'Stirndruckfrei' 'DEUTSCHES REICHSPATENT'. Sweatband is green leather with ventilation perforations to the front forehead section. V.G.C.
Single decal Luftwaffe stamped sheet steel helmet.Retains approx 80% original paint.Interior crown shows some rust spots.Neck guard apron stamped with lot number 1498.Size SE62 stamp.M31 Liner all complete with ink stamping to liner interior with letters 'LW' and what appears to be 'FLAK???? Last letters difficult to decipher .Chinstrap shows much wear and tape repair.Strap is stamped 'RAHM & KAMPMANN WUPPERTAHL 1941'. The left side of the helmet has a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal with approximately 60% decal remaining. G.C.
1936 pattern Shutzpolize NCO’s Shako.Green wool covering to exterior.Ventilation holes below the crown.The front center of the Shako has a large alloy second pattern wreathed Police eagle emblem.Above eagle is a stamped alloy national tri-color cockade.Blackened leather chinstrap. The interior of the Shako has a replacement tan leather liner with tie string.
Army Infantry herring bone twill, late war reed green HBT tunic. Complete with all ten pebbled alloy buttons which still retain their original field grey paint, sewn directly to the tunic rather than having the usual S ring attachments.Collar has both metal hook and eye fasteners with zig zag stitching to the reverse.The infantry collar patches are hand stitched to the tunic, the stitching to the left collar patch has come away to one side.Tunic features a late war M44/45 breast eagle which has been machine stitiched on. Complete with both metal belt support hooks and all four buttons to the sleeve cuffs. Inside of tunic is partially lined in grey rayon material with field dressing pocket and button.The tunic is minus its shoulder straps but is in good condition with no rips or tears, small size for a young soldier.
Summer tunic and trousers for Kriegsmarine enlisted man.Sleeve has trade patches for Flak Gunnery Leader and Senior Boatswain.Matching issue numbers and name stitched to both tunic and trousers.Some staining.Trousers have faint stamp scored out in black ink pertaining to ownership by a film company, this was quite common after the war as film companies would buy stocks of original uniforms to be used in film productions.
Good condition M 42 "beaded" helmet issued to Luftschutzpolizei and combat units such as Volksturm late in the war. Dark green original paint. Inside has its original size 58 leather liner and leather chin strap . The helmet is stamped 'DN23' on the inside neck flap. Also stamped 'NS66' .
Luftwaffe Fliegermütze overseas cap withmachine embroidered second pattern eagle and tricolor cockade both handstitched in position. Theinterior of the cap is fully lined in grey cotton twill.
Japanese naval enlisted mans late model side cap. Olive drab canvas cap with machine embroidered yellow anchor to front. Complete with canvas chin strap and tie strings to back. Inside of cap has a rectangular ink stamp with Japanese characters.
Stamped sheet steel construction M34 helmet retains about 75% of its original black finish paint. The helmet has two "salt & pepper" ventilation holes on each side of the crown. All liner retaining rivets are intact. M31 black leather liner is in overall very good,clean condition with all seven fingers intact. The liner has all five T shaped leather tabs for attaching the protective leather neck guard.Liner is stamped maker 'TMB' and size marked '59'. Chinstrap is very fragile. The interior crown has the blackened leather lining panel with internal padding.
Maker marked Schlesiche Muetzenfabrik Frankenstein, size stamped 55 and dated 1941 with two zinc ventilation grommets and machine woven eagle and cockade.Stitching to the left hand side of the eagle and cockade has started to come away and there is a small slash to the rear of the cap approximately 5mm in length otherwise a nice honest cap.
M44 Gladiator style helmet.About 75% of its original grey finish paint. The helmet has two "salt & pepper" ventilation holes on each side of the crown. All liner retaining rivets are intact.All four of the woodencork spacers between the liner and the helmet shell are still intact.Liner is late war and is ink marked but not eligible. The interior neck guard is stamped L239/25
White canvas construction side cap used by naval ratings in the Japanese navy.Machine embroidered black anchor on oval patch sewn to front.White canvas chin strap complete with two adjustment loops.Visor is of the same material as the body. The cap has two reinforced ventilation holes to either side of the crown all showing rust. Two reinforced eyelets are on either side of a slit to the rear and these are also quite heavily rusted.Some staining to interior particulary around the visor. Sweatband is of brown leather material.
