Very rare ARG 1 Celestial Computer used for extremely accurate navigational readings by the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine particularly the U-Boat arm.The body is aluminium and bakelite construction with glass screen that is illuminated when plugged in.There is an azimuth with microscope eyepiece and cross hairs. To front of instrument around glass are four information plates in luminous yellow.Reverse has switch with words 'Dunkel Aus Hell'(Dark From Light). Connecting wire included and wooden storage box in good condition with all parts intact and original information labels included.

Brigadier Bogert commanded West Nova Scotia Regt 1942-43 in the Canadian Infantry attached to the British Army in Italy Monte Cassino and Anzio.Also Greece.Awarded DSO for service at Jelsi in Italy,Order Of Valour from Greece and Legion Of Merit for service in Korea as well as MBE and CBE.
The case has Enclosure tags for Horse Racing from the 1960's at Sandown and Epsom.
A miniature suit of Japanese Samurai armour which measures approximately 15 inches in height and 14 inches in width. It is made from metal and held together with lace. The helmet is also metal with brass fittings and features what appears to be small spikes covering the crown of the helmet, these appear to be made from clay and some have snapped off, complete with modern wooden stand. Brought back by a British officer who served in Japan where he was stationed in 1946 as part of the British Occupation Force.

Alloy construction belt buckle features a pebbled base with a circular embossed swastika, encompassed by a slightly textured, circular field with an embossed, open topped, oak-leaf wreath to the bottom and the embossed, Gothic script motto to the top, "Gott mit uns", (God with us). Buckle catch, prong bar and prongs all intact. Comes with a leather belt that has been cut down and size altered.Maker marked. Owners initials 'A A' has been etched into the rear of the belt.
