(Code: 548) | |  Rare Panzer NCO tunic for rank of Feldwebel . Field grey wool tricot blend construction featuring eight button front closure. Cyphers to stitched on shoulder boards for Panzer Reconnaissance Regt 8.Pink piped shoulder boards and pink waffenfarbe to collar, cuffs and vertically down tunic front. Eight silver pebbled buttons all maker stamped to front of tunic. Rear tunic and cuffs have same buttons all complete. Machine woven breast eagle in bright silver aluminium threads on green rayon base that is machine stitched on green cloth backing. Collar tabs are machine woven silver aluminium threads on pink wool bases. Eastern Front Medal ribbon bar to front left breast of tunic. The tunic has a number of very small nips to the rear of the tunic and down the sleeves. The right sleeve has two larger nips at the elbow area. The front lower part of the tunic has small nips to the waffenfarbe and to the bottom edge of the tunic however these are not seen when the tunic is buttoned closed.. The left tunic cuff has a dent to one pebbled button.

Vulcan fibre visor,interior of cap lined with orange rayon.Celluloid sweat diamond is present but has crack with piece of celluloid missing.Size 56 stamp.Brown leather sweatband with maker and date to inside 'Opolka & Muller,Hamburg 1937'

Metal hook closure at neck and buttons on fold back lapels. Slash pocket to right breast and angled slash hip pockets with closure flaps with buttons. The armpits area have open ventilation slits .Shoulder strap loops and buttons intact.
Reverse of coat has a ventilation shoulder yoke. Interior of coat has lightweight cotton olive mesh lining to reverse of the top shoulder yoke.
Maker mark and size stamps to interior, maker is 'Thiele & Co Munchen' with depot year stamp 1942. All buttons intact and original, some maker stamped 'Assmann & Co'. Some minor staining to bottom tail of jacket otherwise excellent condition.

The prewar black one reads 'Reich Transport Group For Motor Vehicles' It is not maker marked. Both would be applied to the front grille of a motor car.

(Code: 1860) | |  Very nice sports sailing plaques in copper alloy awarded to a Luftwaffe member.The top one is for a Cruiser race 3rd place finish in 1st August 1942.Middle one is a Cutter race 2nd place on the 26th Aug 1939 that took place in Warnemunde in the Baltic sea near Rostock. The bottom plaque is blank with no engraved race details.The plaques are nicely mounted on a dark wooden base with a thin light brown border.

The helmet is also metal with brass fittings and features what appears to be small spikes covering the crown of the helmet, these appear to be made from clay and some have snapped off, complete with modern wooden stand. Brought back by a British officer who served in Japan where he was stationed in 1946 as part of the British Occupation Force. |
