Rare Seaforth Highlanders Officer feather bonnet. Discovered in dry storage in the Scottish Highlands for over 100 years. Maker label to Bonnet liner for '' Wm ANDERSON & SONS, EDINBURGH & GLASGOW'' . Hole to lining. Badge Scroll is silver hallmarked. Diced band in good bright condition. Feathers show wear consummate with age and tight storage in tin box. Leather chinstrap present but split. Box has nearly all remaining black paint. Owner's name in white stencil to box lid. Some of the white feathers have come away from the plumb but could be carefully brushed off, we have just left it the way it was removed from the transit box.

1411Unidentified shovel WWI era ,most likely British, and decorated with the flags of the Allied nations to head and with a gilt border around edge of shovel head.There is a motif decoration to wooden handle.There are no other markings or stamps.The Allied flags are Belgium,France,Great Britain,Russian Navy Flag,Japanese Navy Flag.
Late Victorian era circa 1880's telescope covered in dark hard grained leather. Optics in good order. Brass lens cover present. With brown leather grained case. Top case cover is missing. Bottom of case is cracked at seam.

The additional bar hanging below is for an additional soldier or nurse. The right hand side of bar is secured with a safety pin.
