A very rare photo print of Edward Prince Of Wales signed by him in bottom corner.The print is taken from a photo of him in Nova Scotia Canada in 1919. Edward VIII of course later abdicated the throne.In bottom right corner of mounting board is written in ink 'Cheerio Everybody' ! Frame has some wear and small chips to frame.To reverse is framers label 'HUGH A.BROWN, CHARING CROSS GALLERY, 482 SAUCHIEHALL ST GLASGOW'. A rare item

Brigadier Bogert commanded West Nova Scotia Regt 1942-43 in the Canadian Infantry attached to the British Army in Italy Monte Cassino and Anzio.Also Greece.Awarded DSO for service at Jelsi in Italy,Order Of Valour from Greece and Legion Of Merit for service in Korea as well as MBE and CBE.
The case has Enclosure tags for Horse Racing from the 1960's at Sandown and Epsom.

Silk lining to tunic.Officer quality badge insignia to collars and cap.Green tropical shirt and tie both excellent condition.Shoulder boards are minus metal R.A.O.C. insignia,Officer crowns present.All brass buttons present are R.A.O.C. with waist button beneath belt having 'ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORP' along edge of button.All buttons are maker stamped.Cap minus interior maker label otherwise in excellent condition with owners initials ' DHK ' stamped to sweatband.Sam Browne leather good with no cracking.
Framed and signed print by Mike Aspinall depicting Wing Commander Guy Gibson's Lancaster attacking the Mohne dam on the night of 16-17 May 1943 . The print is signed by four 617 Squadron crew who flew in the raid and by two crucial members of the 617 Squadron ground crew.

Beautiful embroidered work on a silk base named to 2819269 L/CPL E BAKER 1st Battalion 72nd Seaforth Highlanders .Photograph of the soldier is in centre of embroidered work.He was part of the Shanghai Defence Force 1938-39. Trousers in good condition of dark navy wool ,several small holes to side of one leg otherwise good condition.Cap is dark navy wool with black centre band .Bullion embroidered crown and anchor badge.Leather chinstrap is perished to one side and detached from retaining button.Inside blue canvas lining with stitched owner's label name of 'G.CHUBB' Brown sweatband and leather stitched visor.The visor has some staining to upper surface.Rear crown of cap has some signs of wear and several small moth nips to edges.The crown edge to front has wear with thin hole along edge and also the stitched material where crown and upper cap meets the material has come away.

Nice four pocket Officer dress tunic for a Captain in the Service Corp. Inside pocket label has maker 'ALDERTON & SONS LTD, 110 CANNON ST, E.C.4' plus owner name of N.C. TYRELL 4211 . Dated 2.10.41.
Service Corp Officer aigulette and ribbon bar with Mention In Despatches bar on War Medal.Also Defence Medal,Italy Star and 39-45 Star.Small tear to inside silk lining and shows wear under the sleeves otherwise in good condition.
Flight lieutenant's mess dress uniform comprising of jacket with gold bullion observer breve and kings crown gilt buttons.Moss Brothers Covent Garden label named to Wookey, complete with waistcoat and trousers.The jacket is approximately a 38 inch chest with arm length from shoulder to bottom of sleeve 24 and a half inches, the waistcoat is approximately a 38 inch chest and the trousers are 32-33 inch waist and 28 inch inside leg. There is a small hole approximately 1 inch x a quarter inch on the upper front of trousers just below the crotch.
Almost mint condition 1939 dated gas mask for babies and infants.All complete and intact with all fittings and straps.Has government issue plate and maker stamp 'PSC' for Pressed Steel Co Cowley,Oxford.The air pump is stamped 'Henley' for Henley Tyre & Rubber Co. Has some literature paperwork including instruction manual.
Shell is Date stamp 1939. Maker stamp FO2.Liner is stamped BMB 1939 7 for size.War department stamp alongside '265'.Liner and chinstrap in excellent condition.Black paint is nearly all present except for crown area and several white scrape marks.

Nice mint pair machine woven, and representing the Oak,Ash and Thorn of 'Puck Of Pook's Hill' from Kipling's story and the area in which the Corp was raised.
Fought in the Normandy Campaign and the Bocage country of Normandy was noted as similar to the Corps badge and they adopted the name 'The Bocage Club'.XII Corp supported the left flank of XXX Corp during Operation Market Garden in September 1944.These examples are Dutch theatre made in the Brabant Weave'
