| A superb museum quality tunic for a high ranking Waffen SS Gruppenfuhrer. M36 style tunic of gabardine material with dark green collar and pleated pockets. Green silk interior lining with maker label for 'Arthur Huck Berlin 0.112 BOXHAGENERSTR.52' .Collar has an interior tunic collar liner. Collar insignia of silver aluminium bullion wires on black wool base. Shoulder boards of gold and silver bullion braid on grey wool backing cloth. Dagger hanger strap and alloy hook to tunic interior. Hook is RZM and maker stamped. Eastern Front ribbon to second buttonhole .On left sleeve is high quality SS eagle and swastika insignia of silver aluminium threads on dark green wool base. Florian Geyer cuff title of silver aluminium bullion threads on black wool base with silver aluminium border. Medals include a silver Close Combat Clasp of high quality ,maker stamped to reverse 'W.E. Peekhaus, Berlin', a superb Iron Cross 1st class with maker number stamp '24' to retainer. Silver Juli 20 1944 wound badge with L/12 maker stamp. A Deutsches Reiterabzeichen(German Horseman's) badge in bronze. Lastly a German Cross in Gold of outstanding museum quality with aged look. It is maker stamped K&Q for Klein & Quenzer. On right sleeve is an Old Guard Honour chevron of silver aluminium tress on black wool backing cloth. |
