| M40 combat helmet acquired from a veterans family. The soldier brought it back and it has been stored for decades in a garage and forgotten about, literally untouched since the war. As a result it has acquired a degree of oxidisation to the surface, the helmet shell shows a faint amount of light camouflage. The eagle decal is almost perfectly intact with just a small blemish to one leg of the eagle and a small blemish to the swastika. Some rust to interior of the shell, the liner is complete with its original drawstring. Shell size is NS6? with the last number difficult to identify. Batch number stamp D102.
