(Code: 2245) | |  Ribbed lightweight khaki olive cotton twill construction coat. Large fold back lapels and collar. Front closure has matching dual buttons on breast panels. Metal hook closure at neck and buttons on fold back lapels. Slash pocket to right breast and angled slash hip pockets with closure flaps with buttons. The armpits area have open ventilation slits .Shoulder strap loops and buttons intact.
Reverse of coat has a ventilation shoulder yoke. Interior of coat has lightweight cotton olive mesh lining to reverse of the top shoulder yoke.
Maker mark and size stamps to interior, maker is 'Thiele & Co Munchen' with depot year stamp 1942. All buttons intact and original, some maker stamped 'Assmann & Co'. Some minor staining to bottom tail of jacket otherwise excellent condition.

(Code: 474) | |  This grenade was found in a barn in Russia. Sheet metal construction with wood handle. Spring screwcap is intact. No pull chord. Original paint remains can still be seen and stamp markings to head. Some rust and light oxidation to head. The handle does move slightly from
side to side because one of the four pins which hold the wooden
handle in place is missing. Wood shows wear as expected but overall still in good condition.

(Code: 2772) | |  A miniature suit of Japanese Samurai armour which measures approximately 15 inches in height and 14 inches in width. It is made from metal and held together with lace. The helmet is also metal with brass fittings and features what appears to be small spikes covering the crown of the helmet, these appear to be made from clay and some have snapped off, complete with modern wooden stand. Brought back by a British officer who served in Japan where he was stationed in 1946 as part of the British Occupation Force. |

Front writing translates as 'AIRTIGHT CARTRIDGE BOX' . Internal lid box label translates as '50 Piece Stems for the Projectile 361' .Box in excellent condition with steel closure locking clips in working order.
The Wurfkorper 361 was an attempt to expand capability for the 4 guage flare gun or Leuchtpistole. The M39 Egg grenade was mounted on the muzzle loading projector stem with a propellant and initiation charge located in the stem end with internal wire running to the grenade delay fuze.
